re-torque head after head gasket replacement, V7-II
« on: July 30, 2017, 09:27:43 AM »
Earlier this spring I had the left head gasket replaced under warranty for a small leak.  All is well.  Similar to the V7-II new bike first service head re-torque, should I check/re-torque the head bolts (followed by a valve check/adjust) due to the head having been removed and a new gasket installed?

(I'm a bit ashamed to say how little I've ridden this season on either of my bikes now that I have my new Fiat 124 Spider convertible.  4200 miles in 12 weeks on the ragtop, probably less than 500 miles on each bike so far this year.  That car is just so much fun!  )

Thanks,
Steve.
