My wife preordered one for me last Christmas.
It showed up a couple of weeks ago.
I think it's a beautiful book. Very well made.
Ton's of eye candy pictures on every page.
I haven't had time to "read" anything in it.
I just look at the pictures.
Great coffee table book.

The complete book of Moto Guzzi will not be written, unless Ivar de Gier rises up and writes it.

Or, Greg, Lord Field, you do!

Haven't seen this latest book, but suspect "Some People" (a.k.a. my Perfect Pillion ) may put that under the tree in December.

Ian Falloon is one of the best recorders of Italian motorcycle history remaining. I own several of his books. This latest one looks like another winner.

Well, Christmas came early, as I got it as a belated birthday present from daughter Dell today.

Looks great, but I'm waiting for a few days to read it when I get another bourbon ration coupon.    :boozing:

My wife recently bought my the book "Moto Guzzi, The Complete Story".  I am restoring a 1966 Stornello 125cc Sport and she wanted me to have the history.  I also have the 2016 Stornello.  We are traveling to Italy in October so hope to pick up some Moto Guzzi stuff while there, even though our focus will be wine, food, enjoying our time together, and the beautiful country in the Tuscany region.

I found a lot of his works poorly researched and inaccurate. (shrug.)

On return to "The Natural State," you  may need new shocks to compensate for that "focus" while in Italy.

We'll be there in September, and Kathi has me on a starvation regimen getting ready.  :thewife:

BTW, not sure where you plan to "pick up some Guzzi stuff while there," but, if not a first trip, you already know that such is not as easy as many might think.  Guzzis and Guzzi shops are not ubiquitous there.

Have a fine time.

Ah, but the photos, Pete, the photos.

I also (think I) recall a wistful passage in a forward to one of his books noting that his son had been recently killed in a motorcycle accident.  Made me ache to read that, and sympathetic since.

Try to visit the Moto Guzzi Factory Museum in Mandello if you can, and see Lake Como. Museum is only open for 1-hour on weekdays.
