You CAN ride that Goldwing up a wooden ramp and thru a narrow door...no problem!

Door looks wide enough, but I wouldn't touch that ramp.

Sad how he's selling his wife like that.

WHAT.... could possible go wrong?

Maybe if the ramp is wide enough to flat-foot your way up while a second party winches you in....

The guy is obviously a mechanic. You can see the shade tree in the second and third photos.

That ramp is about 2 ft wider that the ramp I used to load my Harley into a shed I used for storing it.I'd have no problem with it.

What he says. No problem assuming there is grit on the ramp.

Why haul such a ponderous bike  that's made to ride cross country?

Thats always a question I wondered about.I first heard about "trailering" a bike to rallies and such back in the '80's.I was riding one of my Kaws at the time and a friend asked me to go to Americade up in Lake George with a bunch of his Harley riding friends. In work one day I hear him making calls looking for trailer rentals.I thought something happened to his bike, when I asked he said no,the bike is fine,he needed 2 trailers to carry 2 bikes each to get to Americade.I was like,WTF? I thought we were riding up? He said they plan to trailer the bikes to whithin a couple miles of the event and then ride. Its only about 4 hrs.I could see if you were going to Sturgis, having a trailer available for breaks, but the whole idea is to ride your bike.I ended up riding alone and beating them there by almost 2 hours.I broke his balls for years about being a "road pu$$y",lol.

I ride my bike between moving vehicles that are closer together than the width of that door. I'm gonna assume that the ramp is reinforced somehow - I can see some type of reinforcement on the upper section.

The trick to getting up that ramp is all technique. You need a good running start.

Fay and I had floated the idea of trailering one of our bikes the first 2000 miles out West next summer, then parking at a motel and using it as a base of operations for riding the local areas.

We gave it up.   We can't do it; we just can't.   We're riding.
