How would you compare them to the Aerostitch AD-1? The price is about the same, I guess the $200 price point seems cheap if you hang out in the Klim section too much.

Hi-

I haven't tested the AD-1 yet. I have tested Roadcrafters, Cousin Jeremy pants, Cargo Pants, and the armored Khakis and jeans from Aerostich. I guess the big difference here is price - $230 vs. $390 for the Aerostich. The Scorpions are overpants, not pants like the AD-1. No liner in the AD-1 that I know of - Scorpion has a liner. Differences in armor. A few other odds and ends. I don't think it's a direct comparison.

The price must have really jumped since I got mine. I'm way too cheap to pay $400 for them!
