A Somewhat Naked Vintage

Now that I have my BMW for high-speed travel, I decided to configure my '07 California Vintage for backroad exploration. First I freshened up the suspension and brakes, then I added Mistral Classic slip-ons and a re-mapped ECU, and yesterday I removed the windshield and light mounts. A Hepco-Becker lightbar gave my spotlights a perch and Bob's your uncle...
It's a little windy on the interstate, but is perfect at 60-65 mph.

Nice! What bar did you use for the lights? I cannot get the buffeting to stop, and figure I will try with a shield cut down to 15", and if that doesn't work, just take the shield off.

I used the bar from a Hepco-Becker Twin-Lights kit. Available from Moto Machines (but as a kit with lamps included). I suppose you could order the bar as a replacement part...

One fine looking Guzzi! Love it stripped down for running the back roads.

That looks lean and mean. I've tried to keep my Jackal as naked as possible as well, did a screenless 400 miler which included some rural highway (80 mph) and man, is it a workout. Honed my skills at finding the rear pegs and laying down, not tenable for distance!
My compromise is a Givi universal, lowprofile, breaks the wind for my chest and makes 80 manageable. But I'm a one bike guy. when I get my

Take the rear rack off to complete the new look!
Goes off and on easily.

Here is my Calvin,
Yes...only somewhat stripped. Can you tell me where to unplug the spotlamps, Antman? Under the tank or in the headlight? I'm thinking about going to smaller fog lights...

Yes I believe it was under the tank but I did it over a year ago. The wires from the lamps are about 2 feet long with a 2 prong plug.
