I welcome advice on places to stop, never been in Idaho or Montana.
Leaving Sunday, Reno to Glacier Park and back over 7-8 days. Riding up 93 so I can stop and see a friend in Hailey ID. Thanks.

The Spiral Highway and Lolo pass in Idaho. If you want to go farther east, the pass over the Tetons going into Jackson hole (tourist trap) is good, up through Yellowstone, to Red Lodge via Beartooth (certainly one of the top 3 in the country) is spectacular.
There are many others in that part of the country.
Don't expect a sporty ride at Glacier, but the scenery is fantastic.

Lolo pass.. this basically follows the Lewis & Clark expedition down the rivers. 99 miles of curves and trees.
