Deb and I are leaving for the Skowhegan Maine rally next Tuesday or Wednesday. We will be going through Sault Ste Marie on Hwy 17 to Sudbury, then either south to Parry Sound and then east across Algonquin Prov. Park; or stay on 17E to Ottawa. What are pros and cons of each regarding ride-ability, traffic, camping, scenery and affordable lodging if it is raining?
From Ottawa we will either stay on 17 or take 417 to Montreal which we plan to bypass and take the super slab to Sherbrooke, then 212 to the border, then 27 to the rally. Same questions regarding these possible routes and what is best way to bypass Montreal?
For Maine riders, where can I get a front tire installed on my Stelvio in general vicinity of the rally?
