Houston Aftermath
« on: September 01, 2017, 09:38:26 PM »
well, as a relatively cheap (not encumbered by a lot of money) guy I tend to buy some stuff on line.  Any suggestions how to protect oneself as the ocean washed rain polluted autos and motorcycles enter the used market, either whole or most likely in parts?

Yeah, don't need anything for awhile other than consumables.  I bought my last car 14 months ago.   :thumb:

Don't buy used parts online unless you know the seller?

On the same path, but a different direction. Look in your closets, the kids old (last week) toys. There are churchs collecting useables to send to those folks down there, mostly the kids. Just don't buy there auto parts.

I in no way want to curb your charitable impulses or in anyway sound ungrateful for you kindness, but a monetary donation, even a very small one,  to a vetted charity goes much further to provide Hurricane Harvey victims the help they so desperately need.  Monetary contributions will help experienced agencies  help in the most efficient manner.

Thank you for your concern.  You are obviously a kind and caring person.

God Bless,

Dave
