Help...V7 stalling out every Ten feet

I have a 2016 v7 stone abs traction control. With the help of two guzzi friends I put new tires on the bike tightened everything back up. Got ten feet out of the driveway and the bike stalled. I checked the abs sensors and they are firmly in place. I checked the fuses they all work. I let the bike warm up (weather is cold) I have gas. Gas light is not on. Bike idles fine. Goes into gear without issue soon as i get moving and let the clutch out the bike stalls. I dont feel any unusual drag from the brakes. Im inclined to think either kickstand sensor is loose or the colder weather is messing with the bike. Any thoughts as what i should check?

You have to "Re-Set" the anti-lock brake control , did you put the 90 series tire instead of the 80 series ?   I'll do the 90 series too , when its tire time ! 

Temporary fix is to : disable TRACTION CONTROL

Start the motor but don't put it in gear yet .
Wait for about 15-20 second for the dash to normalize
With the motor running ... Push the start button down and hold it till the traction control light come on and stays on. (5 seconds +-)  Now the Traction Control is turned off .   You can do Wheelies , Burn-outs , Donuts ,  and all those fun things you couldn't do before .

I'll try to find out how to "Re-Learn" the computer for ya , but it might take a day or two to get to it.   

If the brakes are locking-up , ???    Perhaps , I'll look in the book tonight .

 That did work my front brake is dragging but now bike isnt stalling thank you I will mess with the rest tomorrow. Any suggestions for the brake?

I found it in my book ,  the print is tinny , but basically :

You disable THE TRACTION  CONTROL (yes ya got to do it every time ya crank up)  see above post
Take a short ride just fast enough to make those yellow lights quit flashing - 3 to 4 mph till the lights quit flashing
Let the motor IDLE for at least 5 second in neutral after the lights QUIT FLASHING
Hold the clutch in and hold the start button in for at least 5 seconds till the yellow light goes to SLOW FLASH
Now the ACTATION PROCESS is on
Accelerate to a speed of 18.64 mph and maintain that speed (or a little more) for at least 8 seconds
The YELLOW LIGHT  will flash to let you know you were successful
To complete the process ... TURN THE SWITCH OFF FOR AT LEAST 60 SECONDS .   
When you restart the bike all should be well , if not repeat the process and stay closer to the 18.64 mph for at least 8 second and/or leave it turned off for the entire 60 seconds .   

I'm going to be going to the taller tire too.   So , I am very interested in this working ... please let me know ! 

I like a lot of this Bike , and only one thing I don't-like ... There ain't a Super-Slab Gear !   The taller tire will help a little.

I like a lot of this Bike , and only one thing I don't-like ... There ain't a Super-Slab Gear !   The taller tire will help a little.     
 

The top gear in the small block 5 speed gearbox is almost exactly the same ratio as found in the 6 speed box.  Top gear is an overdrive ratio, not 1:1.  The torque curve is such that 4.5K ~ 6K rpm is going to give the best performance.  Since we only have about 40 RWHP we need all the torque we can get if there is any need to accelerate, like passing on a hill.  The small block needs to spin and is quite happy doing so.  My V7 will happily run all day at 70 mph and give 50 mpg.

Maybe , my Harley has spoiled me to the , Putt , putt , putt  @ 70 mph.   

I'm still going for the "Taller" tire and getting what I can . 
It might help that built-in speedometer error also ! 

To my thinking : Second gear is just a hair above where First should be , I think I would have liked the 5 speed transmission better ... but I've got the six so I'll make do with what I got .   

Any chance of changing the rear axle gear ?  perhaps the V-9 has a taller rear axle ??   The 16" tire comes in more choices too.

Of course I was trying to say 50 MPG....actually it's a tad better than that but 50 is a nice round number and easy to cross check at each fillup.  I rode a V7II last weekend with the 6 speed.  The new design is really slick and feels much more refined (less clunky) than my 5 speed.  Still, I was rowing through the gears  more than with the 5 speed box.  The ratios for 1st and 6th are almost exactly like 1st and 5th.  As for speedo accuracy, I just use the GPS.  Switching from bike to bike I cannot remember exactly how untruthful the speedo is on each bike whereas the GPS is ground truth and easier for me to read.  It will be interesting to see how much of a change you get from the different tire. 

As for changing the final drive ratio....nope.  There were some options many years ago when you could possibly swap out from one model/year to another but nothing recent.  That's sorta like the belt drive systems used elsewhere.

I got the order of the axle spacer wrong so thats why the brake dragged. The computer reset helped and now the bike is running great. I love knowing i can turn off traction control.  I I corrected my mistake and no brake drag, no stalling. Thanks for the help greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the club. Been there, done that. I was SURE I had laid out the bits in order & re-assembled them properly. But I didn't even get out of the drive. Bleeding the brakes didn't fix it. Replacing all the brake fluid didn't either. It was only after looking very closely at the operation of the caliper & pistons that it twigged that in spite of my conviction otherwise, the LH & RH spacers were reversed. Very happy when the caliper centered over the rotor again. Another learning experience gratefully received. And my brake fluid was fresh too. It's fun, isn't it.
