CANCELED Tennessee/Georgia etc First Annual Holiday Brat/Burger

Due to a  bad weather forecast for my area Saturday all day, and Saturday night, I have made the decision to cancel our first annual Brat/Burger run.  But all is not lost.  Here is the plan......

REMINDER....Tn/Ga meet and greet lunch for December is planned for Dec 2, 2017 at Tellico Kats, in Tellico Plains, Tn area.  http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=93236.0

AND

April or May of 2018 we will be having the First Annual Burger/Brat Moto Guzzi CAMPOUT which means we will host all you riders from Friday through Sunday for a campout at my place.  We live out in the country on seven acres, with a creek and plenty of camping room, fire pit etc etc. 

The tentative plan will be to have riders arrive Friday Afternoon/evening, a Saturday ride to one of the local (Tellico Plains or The Ocoee Dam Deli or something) eating establishments, a couple of brat/burger cookouts for a couple of meals, etc. and weekend camaraderie.

I will work out the details soon, but we are looking at the weekend of April 27-29, 2018, or possibly the first weekend in May (4-6 May 2018) as the dates.

Please reply with your thoughts as to the spring campout idea????????????

Im having the First Annual Holiday Brat and Burger Run for  you Guzzi riders in the Tennessee/Northern Georgia and wherever area.

I have 7 acres out in the country with two creeks, two bridges, fire-pit, firewood, etc.  I reside between Cleveland Tn and Dalton Georgia with nice riding roads nearby.  Plenty of room for your tent if you want/need to spend the night and some room in the house if needed to spend the night also. (Let me know ahead of time if you want to spend the night). 

Who knows, this may turn into a weekend campout.  We have plenty of room for camping etc.

Saturday, November 18th 2017.  Food served at 12 noon.  Good motorcycle conversation and friendship available!  We will provide the Brats and Burgers with the trimmings (Beans and Chips) and soda. 

Come on, lets bring in the Holiday season (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) by having a guzzi get together.

Gives you another reason for a ride!  I need a serious RSVP no later than November 10th so I know how much food to prepare etc.

Little early for me - I'll probably be riding to Pass Christian and then to northern Alabama from Thanksgiving to the first weekend in December, and I don't think I can stretch the start any earlier. Have fun!

I thought somebody posted asking if Yamaha Riders or Harley Davidson riders can come?  But now it looks like that post is deleted. 

I dont have any problem with other riders coming, as long as everybody behaves!!

Our CMAUSA group meeting is that same day ... If its OK , I'll see if they'd like to take a ride after our morning meeting ?    Most likely the responses will fall in the category of "we got to go to _____ , thanks anyway" , but my (old/nice) 1100-Goldwing buddy will usually ride if the weather is 1/2 way nice .

Yep! That's my work route. Let's do it! I'll probably be heading to the meet up on the 18th.

I am 2 1/2 hours by truck.  3 1/2 hours by bike.  My Guzzi is currently unregistered.  I might ride one of the Harleys or haul the FZ-07 out there.  Don't worry about food for me.  On a special diet so will take care of my own which means I may be last minute.
