I am 2 1/2 hours by truck.  3 1/2 hours by bike.  My Guzzi is currently unregistered.  I might ride one of the Harleys or haul the FZ-07 out there.  Don't worry about food for me.  On a special diet so will take care of my own which means I may be last minute.

Unless some , un-foreseen calamity pops up ,   Bugger at your place is on my calendar .   I'm ridding from middle Tn. and one of my brothers on his old Harley chopper is meeting me at your place ridding in from Southern middle NC.   I'll see the other prospect (1100cc Gold-Wing) this weekend and ask if he wants to go.

Lets keep them coming.  The more the merrier.  Get those Bikes out and ride on over to my place for Bratwurst,  Burgers and all the fixins!  Hope to get more attendees for the First Holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Kick-off, End of Season) whatever we want to call it Get Together!  Some are coming Friday and leaving Sunday, some are camping here, and some are staying in the house here.  Lets get some more attendees!!!!!!

WEATHER FORECAST:  Friday (17 Nov)  60 degrees and sunny, Saturday 59 degrees and cloudy, Sunday 60 degrees and sunny.

That can change and I will watch it and make any decisions regarding weather cancellation just before the weekend arrives if warranted.  Lets hope for nice weather.   Hope to hear from more of you about coming on over!  Ride Safe!!

Nope:  We are providing the burgers, brats, side dishes, etc.  If you want something to drink different from soda, then you should bring that.  See ya soon!

The bike is at least equal on the Super Slab , and  quicker on any other road .

I betcha he takes a different route if traveling by bike, more scenic, etc, and a little longer time wise.....Just a guess though...

Like bobrebos said, I don't super slab on the bike.  When I ride, it is about the ride, not the destination. 

I have hit the interstates when necessary because of work schedules and time constraints, but definitely not my preference.

As long as you are not in a hurry to get anywhere!  LOL! 

When mapping out new routes I have had to deal with dead ends that the map and GPS said where through roads, and roads that turn to dirt when crossing a county line with no indication of how long you will be on dirt before it returns to paved.  The avoid dirt roads feature on the GPS doesn't work well at all in my experience.

You ride "the pace".  That is my philosophy of riding as well.  My pace might be a little different depending on which bike I am riding at the time.

As of now the Brat/Burger get together is still a "GO".   .....I will keep an eye on the weather forecast and we shall see as it gets closer as to whether we have to cancel or not.  Lets all hope for decent weather!
