Parts missing or glued in place ore just hold tight when assembled with the carbs? Parts diagram tells me nothing.

Tight when assembled. There is a small lip on the air filter box that corresponds with the rubber boot.

I use Permatex Ultra Black RTV to "glue" the boot to the plate of the air box. Before applying the sealer, I do a dry fit to see how everything fits best and make adjustments.
