I will never let someone call me a biker.  Too many negative stereotypes associated with that word.  I am a motorcycle enthusiast.  You don't own Moto Guzzi if you are not a motorcycle enthusiast.

I know it must be wrong at some level but , I'm can't get the image of the new V-9 with the long seat out of my mind !!!
What is wrong with me  ???    I ain't even rode one of them yet ... (my local dealer don't have one in stock)

I was at Sloan's today ...  they have three new V-7III Stones (Green, Blue, and Gold) $8k.   One of those with the solo seat w/tail piece , and a chrome tank-brown/seat that looks like the V-7 tank/engine.     But no V-9.    They also have a slightly used  V-7II Blue Special for $7k

By Spring I might have to hunt another dealer if Sloans don't sell the ones they have and get another shipment.

I test rode the green one and the used blue one.  They said make an offer on the Blue one because they had it for a while but it is too close in every way to my café classic.  I thought about offering them $5000 for it, but decided against it.  Kept hearing my wife's voice in my ear saying "get what you really want, not just because it is a bargain."  LOL!

I've been running up 231 , and after appointments with the VA , then going by Sloans while I'm there.   How do ya get on MidLand rd ?    Is it the one that goes by "Blockade Runners" and "Bell Buckle" ?
