Now I know where to get the orange paint for the dayglo panels on the Mk 2 fairing each side of the headlight.

Prior to the shake down run all the logging gear had to be re-installed

Looks great!  My guess is, since I felt the need to see it again, that others might like to see the video of it running as well.

If I'd thought about it I would of made a short vid of him riding it but we were all feeling a bit wooly this morning after a night of gratuitous excess down at the Lake George restaurant. Mark put forward the rather spurious hypothesis that he needed some bourbon to 'Help him sober up.'! You can guess how that went .

Anyway rain was forecast for Wagga from about mid-day so he and Leah bolted as soon as we'd got up. I rode with him over to Murrumbateman before saying goodbye and peeling off to head back to Bungendore. Judging from the clouds I fear he'll get drenched before he gets home.

Pete, if your US tour next year has you in the midwest in late September, the Kentucky rally is in bourbon country. You can test that hypothesis..

Alas, apart from the occasional gin and tonic spirits are off the agenda for me. Likewise regular wine drinking as it, especially reds, causes my gout to flare up savagely! Nowadays I'm pretty much strictly a beer drinker which probably explains my almost spherical shape!

Any chance of throwing up a photo from the exhaust side,,, some times that's a weak spot on the Grisos.

Pete, Mark.
Well done, excellent work. It looks brilliant.
May the longevity fairey kiss it on the bum and it not explode.
Any thoughts on a dyno run?

Oh, Phang, the 'Third Man' is Michael who does the throttle twisting in the utube vid. As I've said elsewhere this build is more his than mine and he has been pivotal in its success. Yes it's been a group effort but my contribution has been mainly knowledge and experience. This is far more Mark and Michael's build than mine.

That bike is really something to be proud of!  Very well done indeed.

Makes me wish I could come hang out with you guys just to watch these projects.

Now you have me wanting to trade my old Thruxton in on a new Griso again, just as I had gotten over the urge. Seems I fight this urge every few months, dang it!!!

Tks, very nice. That savage looking heat bluing on the header pipes adds to the overall brawny character.

Single skin Titanium pipes. As well as being very pretty they do actually have some tangible benefits with the 8V motor.
