From the news....it's snowing in Houston.
From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉 Hawaii.

Our fire crews have requested that you send it over here if you can .... Nice picture.
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Were supposed to get 4-5 inches through tomorrow. I reckon Ill have to wait a bit for the fuel mileage test on the Calvin:(  but I love the first snow of the winter in NC:)

Just thinking out loud, but does snow have a nationality?
coz we are having it here in UK right now and it sure feels like British snow!!!

Sorry but I am working my way through a bottle of red wine and head is full of silly thoughts and ideas:

"Lucky!"

I wish we would get more snow. It is so beautiful and quiet, and everything looks clean. Instead, we usually get 33 degrees and rain or 31 degrees and ice...

The south must be the new north. Here in 'Joisey' , not a flake. A lot of idiots, scumbags, and general losers. But no flakes.
You guys can have it all, don't miss the snow.

I’m with you, Pop. I was stationed at West Point when I was in the Army and got a lifetime of frozen stuff in my three years there. A dusting every eight years or so is still too often for me...

The closest I ever want to get to snow is a photograph. Even then it gives me the chills. Woke up this morning and it was 45 degrees. Screw that. I went back to sleep.

Yes, Jim. A little unincorporated place just north of Abita Springs...

We don’t often get snow in England, so the councils don’t gear up for it, and car owners don’t bother with winter tyres.  There was a heavy fall last night, and the roads are paralysed. I stayed with a friend just north of London on Friday and Saturday and was supposed to be driving the 200 miles home today. I got about 5 miles along a major highway, in my car, not on my V7, I hasten to say, in an hour, and gave up. I’ll go home tomorrow.

Abita Springs...good beer!

We frequent both the Abita Brew Pub (great food!) and the Abita brewery. The brewery has a fantastic lounge where all their beers are served. Its pay as you go, but is a great place to hang out...many fun events are held there. The entire Abita Springs community is really tight, with free concerts at the trailhead of the St Tammany Trace all through their summer, Water and Busker festivals, and some great restaurants. They even have a celebration at Mardi Gras called the Push Mower Parade. And when we get bored, New Orleans is just an hour away. Pretty idyllic...the occasional snowfall notwithstanding.
