You look like the most interesting man in the world in that photo! 'I don't often ride sport bikes, BUT when I do, I make it Centauro...Stay Guzzi, my friends!'

I had to shave my beard off a few years ago when I went back to work full time...Would like to grow it back one of these days so I can REALLY morph into full-blown "Guzzi-Geezer" status!! (LOL)      Here are a few more classics:

Here is a good overview - - only about 1,918 were made worldwide between 1996-2000. Designed by Luciano Marabese for the 75th anniversary of the Moto Guzzi factory, the V10 Centauro (Centaur) was produced in limited numbers during 1996, '97 & '98. It is in essence, a sports bike disguised as a cruiser.

Morning in Manitou, September 2017

Is it all back together?   I rode there in 2013, spent a day wandering the shops and restaurants, and then that fall, a flood washed it all away .... or that's what it looked like with a 6-foot-deep raging river running down the street and into the stores ....

No bad roads in or out of there!

Lannis,  yes Manitou is back. New roundabouts and cobblestone.  Currently there is a big hole in the middle of Main Street as they are replacing a main water line. Should be done  by summer.

I am so ready for winter to end.  As cold and yucky as it's been, I'll bet I haven't gotten an inch of snow and not much ice either.

But man has it been cold and rainy.  And I should be riding now.  This is usually good riding time.  It was 70 a week ago.   It's supposed to be 65 on Tuesday.

Here comes sunshine.

By golly, I think you’re right! I did get stuck for a moment on a rotten log buried under leaves, but I am glad I kept going.

I didn’t realize until after taking a closer look at the photo that the tree behind me just is not natural. I have learned since that Native Americans deliberately deformed trees by splitting and bending limbs in patterns to mark trails, water and tribal boundaries. This one, near Beaverdam, Virginia, appears to be one of those.

I finally got a chance for a ride over an hour for the first time in about a month due to dealing with family medical issues.
Felt good to get some quality Guzzi therapy.
