I've always been a sucker for the sean-n�s style of singing.

I can hear it in Dolores O'Riordan singing.

It must come from my maternal Grandfather a construction working, hard drinking Irishman who had 9 kids while following the road gangs across the US.

A superb voice, and a great band with her. Their early success was with songs like 'Linger' that were exceptions rather than the rule of their overall catalog, and they sometimes struggled to bring their audience with them as they progressed.

I'm not sure I ever understood the emotional impact of 'The Troubles' until I heard 'Zombie'.
