Much ado about nothing, really.. You'll find out what size they are the first time you disassemble the forks. Then, just use a generic torque for that size bolt. It's not rocket science. <shrug>
They are usually 32ftlb on a 10mm X 30mm bolt w/crush washer.
It's an aluminum crush washer (you can also get anywhere). Not sure if that makes a difference or not, but that's what is typically there.
You probly already know this but it bears repeating: don't overtighten the pinch bolts, its easy to break the fork leg there :Beating_A_Dead_Hors e_by_liviu
In the factory service station manual for my v7 III, Kaifa forks, that bolt is shown to be torqued at 50 Nm (36.88 lbs-ft).
Been checking the mailbox Timmy ?
Ya, nothing showed up yet...been going to mailbox daily...gonna give it another few days before I start calling and bitching...They have a difficulty finding the mail boxes around my area due to "new yet not so new" postal code...
Oh sweet...So it took them 3 generation to actually fix half of their manual eh...Again, its typical Luigi style of writing lol
