NGC BMW Sidecar Rig FS
« on: March 26, 2018, 10:22:03 AM »
A local Airhead member is helping a friend with an estate sale and sent me this info to spread around. The bike is located in Coward, SC. I have no affiliation with the bike or seller and don't know anything beyond what is listed below and what is shown in the pictures. If anyone is interested PM me and I can pass on pertinent contact information.

1984 R100RT w/ Velorex Sidecar

66,000 Miles
PIAA driving lights
Corbin touring saddle (shows some wear)
Givi Monokey trunk
BMW Saddle bags
Trailer hitch
Good tires
Brown's side stand
Recent carb rebuild.  One float is sticking, but that's probably just some junk on the needle
Good tires all around

Asking price is $4,000.00

I expect that a BMW fan will be into that pretty quick ... !   Looks like a decent rig at a reasonable price.

You couldn't set up a sidecar properly on anything for less than that price!

Ya.....I though it was a pretty good deal also. I thought about jumping on it but I just don't have room in the garage for a sidecar rig.....right now anyway.  :boozing:

A well maintained airhead with 66K miles is just breaking in. Looks like a nice rig, at a good price.

That's a Velorex hack. Pretty light for that bike. If it had the large axle update and if you could carry 75 to 100lbs of ballast, and if it had the right triples it might be ok. Otherwise it would be kind of a pain.

Exactly what I was thinking, that is a pretty light hack for that bike, but still a steal at that price. If the bike is well maintained ,and cared for, just the bike at 4K would not be a bad price.
