In a desperate attempt to countersteer this runaway threadwreck, I'll relate a story.

I was hauling the "new" EV back to the garage on a U-Haul trailer.  While parked at the ferry dock the youngish guy in the construction truck behind me asked if I'd just gotten it.  He was impressed that there were any new bikes out there with those sorts of "pornographic" lines.  I asked "how so?"  He said (I'm paraphrasing) "Well, it looks good naked, wears the bling well, and it's well-filled-out in an androgynous enough way to appeal to any orientation.  I'll bet it likes getting kinky."

I paused for a moment to decide if this was a good thing or not, and how a construction worker managed to work "androgynous" into a casual sentence construction.  About the time that I mentally concluded I'd made a good choice to not pursue liberal arts in college, he pressed on to ask why I was trailering it instead of riding it.  I gave him the back story.  He was visibly saddened to hear that although "new" it was 18 years old, and no, they don't make them like this anymore.

I was trying to avoid the ozzie and harriet hazard and get it back to bikes.  Maybe my steering post bearings are too tight.    :boozing:
