In the short video I saw a multitude of sandbag barriers: some quite large. I cannot imagine after 10 laps he didn't notice the sand bags placed throughout the track. A waiver is a waiver is a waiver. Track days are for folks wanting to have fun and get better with far fewer risks than on the street. But running off the road at high speed doesn't mean there are not any risks. Say the track removed the sand bags and the night before a storm moved through and left a trough from the rain runoff. He hits the trough, goes airborne the same way. So he sues them for not having sand bags to prevent runoff.
Just because someone owns a Panigale , or any other street legal production race bike , doesn't mean they can ride it . Go to any track day and watch who the consistently fast riders are , usually they are on something that isn't state of the art . Dusty
That's the scary part. In today's society nobody is ever responsible for themselves. Pity, really.
If only he had brought his LIT cycle thingy... The outcome could have been so very different.
