FUBAR, Chuck and Chris. Was picking up in the shop today. Found a few extra items that I don't think are mine.
FUBAR - Your flask, empty of course. Also a small adjustable wrench with yellow handle?
Chuck or Chris, there is a LL Bean vest.
I didn't expect gifts so I thought I would post. FUBAR, when you leave a flask it is suppose to be full.

The LL Bean vest is mine. Will pick it up when Dusty comes up. I didn't bring any tools in.

Thank you for your concern,I've decided to take wifey +our together precious children(8) with us as i'll be returning with your wood burning thingy.As I'm doin steering bearings on the raffle bike the chillens will have lots of time to take in the sites.I figure about 2-3 weeks should do it,don't worry about our precious little ones as they are all under 9yrs old and used to caring for themselves

Marley will keep the kiddos herded somewhere on the property. Just don't let one of them fall in the pond or lake as Marley does not like to swim and will not out preform Lassie.
We will need to try out the overhauled fire place. Did you tune it for more BTU?

Mornin Johnnie,the ponds are not a problem as(7) of the precious ones are allergic to water,little Johnny(the 1 with dirty face +drooley nose) is into his DRUMSET so they will prolly just play with him.On a side note however,wait till u hear his little(4 yr old)rendition of-----WHEN THE MOON COMES OVER THE MOUNTAIN,as sung by KATE SMITH

The fire burner apparently has more than enough BTU's--- I do believe the problem lies more directly within the berromisfecic situlatin rodulluctor or as they say here in Nebraska-----it aint gettin enough air Clyde !!!So we will try relocating the berromisfecic situlatin rodulluctor 4 degrees.Before I forget,I promised the kiddies they could take their twin ST.Bernard (Pete+Repete)puppies along ,they are nearly house broke,only problem I see is they are kind of used to sleeping in a large bed ,do u suppose they mite share your bed??

Naw...ain't sharing the bed. That's why I have carpeted floors. The dog and cat get the bed.

We are receiving requests from members who can't actually attend re purchasing raffle tickets . So we've been thinking about how to handle a situation where someone not there winning the bike . Just a couple of thoughts , we can sell the motorbike to an attendee for a small profit to the winner like Wes S did a few years back at the Datil Rally , or there is storage available in Cedar Vale if the winner wants to pick it up at a later date . Anyway , we can work this out . Some have mentioned giving the bike to a bikeless person , which seems a generous notion , just something to consider . Thanks guys for participating .

I'm located off of Interstate 44 at mile marker 251 (near St Louis) and will be attending Cedar Vale with truck/trailer and room for another bike.
Anyone on my route or "close enough" could get free delivery. I also could store the bike.

Of course you would have to ride the bike a few days a week..you know...just to keep the battery charged!!

Will try to post some pics today. We have the bike about ready to rock and roll. This time around had to replace the steering head bearings, a bit of wiring work. Still doing some cosmetic work but basically it is ready. Good running bike.

Mornin Glider,got home ok tell Dusty not to worry anymore now, I"m in 1 piece still!!! Strong cross wind,held 80mph all the way took 2hrs + got 28 mpg(82 BMW airhead)

My shop currently has more Guzzis in it than most current dealerships.

Dusty can also do things other than work on Guzzis and promote CV. Big thanks to Dusty for painting the trim on my two sheds today.

Here is the rest of the story .

Bert Remington won the raffle bike , and has generously offered it up for sale in the form of a donation to the board . We have settled on a price and a purchaser .

Congratulations to David Welch (Sickbay 987) , a long time member of the Guzzi family . You may remember that David and his wife Colleen lost their '95 California in an accident coming home from the last National in Iowa , so this seems fitting . David had purchased raffle tickets for the bike, and seems to be excited to return to the Guzzi world after a short absence . David has promised to give this bike a good home , and he surely will

Pictures to follow next week .

Anyway , thanks Bert , and thanks to everyone who helped make this happen .
