We’ve got a pretty good deal on fall Roses here, even though we’ve had three frosts and some pretty serious rain.

We have a very old-fashioned rose bush that my brother-in-law’s grandmother remembers planting at their farm in the 1920s. We transplanted it to our place about 20 years ago, and it’s been thriving.

A “rose expert” might be able to tell what it is, but it’s from old old stock and I like the style.

I just got this photo from a fellow Guzzi rider. I do not know the story behind it (yet) but it seems that the V85TT is used in natural terrain already. The shot was taken in Morocco.

Update - Here is the story:
The Guzzi is owned by a German with the first name Georg. He ordered the red/white version which was delivered one month later than expected.
When it arrived he drove 1000 km in just one week, mounted cases and other tyres and left Germany with 3 comrades (1x KTM, 2x BMW GS) on Easter Monday heading towards South France taking the ferry to Morocco. They should be back on the 18th of May.

A blast from the past. My flatmate and myself off for a trip on a cold winters evening around the Port hills on Little Esmel. Range was between 600 to 700 miles as the tank held over 7 imp. gallons. G3L 350 motor, G12 frame, Triumph rear mudguard, CSR forks and the rest various Ajay/Matchy bits.

Probably around 1972. Last century anyway.
