 Yep , and it will likely bring that . The KS601 Zundapp was considered by many to be a superior motorbike to the BMW , and this version is very rare .

  Back in the early eighties, I had a chance to buy one of those for about 650 dollars in good running condition.
 I didn't have enough money to buy it.  The transmission was opened and I looked inside.  Instead of gears, I saw chains and sprockets  along the mainsheet and lay shaft.  You could rebuild that tranny on the side of the road if you had to.  PROBABLY A HOLDOVER FROM WW2 TECHNOLOGY.

The 4 cylinder Zundap boxers has chain drive transmission, I thought these 'modern' twin cylinder versions has a gear driven transmission?
