A Saturday in the garage
« on: August 18, 2018, 09:07:32 PM »
Greetings all!!

Started the morning with taking Laurie to work then returning home to change out the plugs and caps on Olivia. Did the NGK cap and plug update.

Went into town to take my recycle oil to Oil Changers.

The new NGK caps really made a difference! No stumbling off idle and just seemed to run better. I am sure that it will increase horsepower by 15 and will now get 80 MPG! Of course not really but a noticeable difference!

The front oil mag plug was clean and the rear had just a bit of "fuzz" on it. everything looked quite normal.

I am really enjoying my V7II.

I don't have any regrets about "downsizing" from my V11's. This bike is a LOT of fun to ride!!

And I am glad I can still ride!!!!

Ride safe and often....

Jeff

My V7 always takes me back to how I felt riding my first motorcycle 44 years ago (74 Honda CB750).   For some reason it's the only bike I've owned that conjures up those memories.  Just a great bike!

Unlikely.

But we convince ourselves of all sorts of stuff when we want to.

Guess it could have been the new oil and filter too!!

Doesn't matter...just happy I finally got it done and now ready for the Nevada campout next month
