Thanks Luap! Much easier to compare, and I like it much better with the wheel open!

Enjoy the ride Laup! Pray it's safe. The MGX is a wonderful, feel good bike. Both riding & looking at it walking to & away from it.

I like it with it off.  To tell the truth, that cover was my least favorite part of the bike.  One of my favorite parts is the double bubble windshield.  I wonder what was the inspiration for that.

I've read somewhere that the wind tunnel and the way the wind rolls over the fairing with less resistance is what prompted the double bubble. Personally, I thought it sucked until I put the XL screen on there and then fabricated the side wings. Now, it's wonderful.

Believe that is the reason why most of Sports touring fairing are also double bubbles...lovely fluid dynamic and its turbulence reduction...

Well, they are cool and it works!... :thumb:

Surprise. I have relatives there and they have no clue I'm coming.  Should be a nice "surprise" in Surprise.

Enjoy your trip but beware of the loonies on the road in the "Valley of the Sun", their brains are seriously affected by the heat and the drive! :bike-037:
