Fenati reached out and deliberately grabbed a competitors front brake lever while going down a straight after some bumping and grinding on a previous corner.

Crutchlow in the MotoGP post race interview when asked about the Fenati incident. Got to appreciate a guy who pulls no punches when asked for his opinion.

And Fenati only got a 2 race suspension after being black flagged in This race. Does punishment fit?

That kind of shit should result in being suspended permanently. There should be no room at all for that sort of activity.

I don't know about a life suspension, but something like that should end the guy's season.

He added: "This is unbelievable. Are you kidding me? That’s where you tell him, ‘go pack your bag and we’ll see you next year’. That’s ridiculous."

Dovi said the incident should be investigated and severe penalties handed out. MM said penaty should be tough enough that a racer would never do such a thing. Crutchlow called Dovi and MM comments "too diplomatic". He had to pause because of laughter.

Cal went on to say Fenati should never be allowed to race a motorcycle again. Then said when Fenati "walked back to his garage, his team should have kicked him out the back". There were some in the interview room applauding Crutchlow's comments.

I saw this a couple days ago and assumed he was trying to assist the other rider. He probably thought Manzi was going in too deep and was trying to help him with the brakes. Seems reasonable to me.

This *should* be a career ender. Done. Never again. See you later. Go hang drywall for a living. Banned from ever racing in motorsports again, not to mention there should be charges laid. There are parameters in every sport that we accept... but stuff like this? Nope. Out of scope, and should be criminal.... like biting someone's ear off in boxing.

Back in my misspent and reckless youth, we were constantly hitting the kill switch on a buddy's bike at speed. We always thought it was hilarious.

Of course, a race bike at 130 mph during competition is a totally different thing. I think this guy also liked to kick other bikes.

Oh, it's gone downhill from there.

Yeah, he'll be lucky if he can ever race, even at the club level, again.

He's gone, and that is good for the safety of everyone who might have ended up around him.

Agreed.

Now that I think about it, we also thought the kill switch prank was pretty funny when the bikes were stationary too. You would pick a less-than-mechanically inclined buddy and turn off his switch when he wasn't looking.

Even better if the bike was kick start only.
