five speed interchange

Hi all, I just purchased a 1998 1100 eve that needs a transmission, will any five speed work. Idon’t Have the bike here yet .

yes any 5 speed will fit.

Except one from an Eldorado will have a different angle to the speedo cable drive, and Eldo and V7 Sport will have a "backwards" shift pattern.

Welcome to WG.. and the wonderful world of interchangeability. .  :smiley: as Charlie mentions, any "modern"   :cool: 5 speed will work.
