Recommendation for fork seals

Are all fork seals created equal ?  Or are some brands better than others ?

Any thoughts or experience on good seals is appreciated --  The Seal Mate easy fix worked for several thousand miles, but now I need to replace !

Made equal or not, the one that's made available is the best choice.  They've been special order with miserable lead times the last three times I've needed some from the dealer.  I've been in Ohio, stalled for Stelvio seals for over a week.  You'd think standard consumables would be standard stock, but other logic prevails.  Save grief, time, and money.  Buy according to dimensions via Motion Industries or similar bearing and seal house.  They will carry quality products and even their not-in-stock stuff usually comes in overnight.

I used SKF seals awhile back on the BREVA....
no issues to report.

If everything is still assembled, you might try using a seal mate (or something similar) and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks for the replies, good information --

Just to clarify, I'm working on the front forks on my 04 Bonneville.  There is nothing to do for the seals but replace them.  The Seal mate fix is still holding up on the 12 Norge for over a year and several thousand miles, but I'll likely get around to them next...
