GCE3901.BIN
« on: September 26, 2018, 07:59:35 AM »
Hi, I've been reading this, http: //wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php? Topic = 73938.30 and I have the same problems as Esmae Watson, or worse because I suspect that my bin has been modified and not for good , I suspect it because the data that appears in the motor temperature table does not seem reasonable to me. I would appreciate if someone can send me an original GC3901.bin or another suitable for my motorcycle. Thanks and regards

What bike are you looking at? Do you know it's past? Why don't you fix the numbers w/stock numbers and reinstall, pretty simple.

Thank you guzzisteve for your answer. Excuse me since my explanations were not very precise. My bike is a special california of the year 2001, it was bought second hand and I do not know its history. The truth is that it has never worked fine at all, all the components of the injection system are new or restored, it has 40,000 km and the compression in both cylinders is within the normal parameters. Many times it has been synchronized with the same result. I suspect that the bin has been modified or they tried to modify it and it was half done. I do not know the values of the original bin to be able to edit them with tunerpro. I thought that the simplest thing would be to look for an original stock map or another map that works well on this bike

Seems that some Special Sport's or Bassa's had corrupt maps that didn't work well in the 15M. I've seen 2. AND they were different than the EV or Jackal/Stone bikes.
You could ask someone here to send you a copy of theirs.
I know 1 owner was so pissed he bought a MyECU .

Ok beetle, very grateful for your help, :thumb: I compared the bin I have with the one you sent me, and the differences are many, more than I thought. The data in the main and trims tables are different.  It shows me 18317 bytes different. It is possible to think that it is another bin for another motorcycle and they have renamed it as GCE3901 . I'll write it on the ecu this weekend and I'll go to ride and see how it behaves.

It's a good idea to check synch after mapping.  I've found most to remain balanced, but sometimes the idle vacuum changes.  High RPM sync is usually unaffected, but it just takes a minute to verify it.  You'll also know if it's synched or not by riding it.

Make sure you have the bike on a charger w/re-mapping. So it has 12V the whole time. After mapping it is important to reset TPS and adjustable parameters reset.

15M, Steve. Manual TPS adjustment. No resets required.

Well I have changed the map that has given me beetle, thanks again. The changes are significant, in principle the engine is noisier but more powerful, rpm rises more quickly, I get the impression that it heats up less or less quickly. I live in an island whose altitude of 3700m, there are microclimates and in a short distance, the temperature can go down 8º or 10º and the atmospheric pressure the same, the important thing for me now is that it works the same in any atmospheric condition, which did not happen with the map I had, from which I deduce that the injection system has no problem. Actually what I'm looking for is a motor as smooth as possible (yes, I know it's a guzzi) ... and I like it. The high speed for me is not important, max 3500-4000 rpm.
Here is a post where Esmae Watson has problems with a GCE3901 and in the end he solves it with a map MY02 ?? Where can I find that map? or other maps to test http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=73938.30

Keep in mind that the first versions 15m have a different air pressure sensor mounted, so using a newer map won’t work as it should.
