Its the mechanical stuff that grabs my interest - but I'm not sure about some of the masks!!

Every year, our county City Lincoln has a Steampunk Festival - I just need to get up there sometime!

But it was the tank that got my attention at first. The retweet that i saw first made it look like one of my mother's Willow pattern china plates. Clicking on the original tweet revealed a motorcycle

so you people had to be informed

The only thing I see steampunk about the picture is the account name. The bike is more of a porcelin living room lamp theme. Not to detract from the effort.

My grandmother has dishes like that. The paint is kinda neat.

I don't get the steampunk thing. There is nothing "punk" about that.

It's more Renaissance fair meets Sanford and Son.

Points taken - that said, as facial recognition software and authoritarian public monitoring come further into use, increased fashions in masks and odd makeup patterns may be the case.

If we were to indulge in all that copper and valves, it would either distill on the move or provide other useful outputs

Steampunk is retro futurism...a sub genre of sci-fi/fantasy. The motorcycle shown above is reminiscent of a bottle of Vandermint...

What I like is that whenever someone decides to join a movement to BE FREE! BE YOURSELF! DON'T ADHERE TO NORMS! DON'T LET THE MAN TELL YOU WHAT TO DO! .... like Bikers! or Steampunk! ...
