I had a paper root when I was a teenager  always had a good supply of rubber bands

Yes , a good way for a kid to earn root beer money .

route beer?

Sounds like a Saturday ride for a group of ...well , you know

Seems we are taking a circuitous route to assist the OP in planning his route to the Black Hills , maybe he simply follow the old A&W trail .

If that's the root that they most rootinely take, that sounds like the best option.

So I'm trying to figure out which route to take here that won't have us running into a series of flooded roads all the way thru Nebraska and having to backtrack like crazy all day long.

Anyone know a link to roads in Nebraska that show what's flooded or closed due to flood damage?

Cheers,

Me and guzzistajohn are going to try the route I PM'ed you...I think most of the flooding was in the eastern half...I could be wrong...my wife can confirm this... :thewife:

Thanks Moto...that's super useful!

Lots of road closures by the looks of it...will have to study it closely now...
