The headers look pretty close to that plastic tank.  Preheating the fuel?

Looking good. Martin, did you need to make up new brackets to hold the tank?
PS - the breather box should be in the mail this morning.

Now ya talkin Martin.  Those tanks really are a classic, look really nice.

Did you fabricate the exhaust?

thanks all
exhaust fabbed with shop (cone eng) muffler
headers now wrapped
tank fits easily just rubbers and bolt for strap
ludditing the efi bits a bit harder but I gained some capacity, will report exact soon. do know  is only 250ml in final final reserve, when you do the hippy hippy, limp on one for last 2 miles

but that motor stole 3 months I won’t get back
the tlc it gets now is a damn good thrahing
repeatedly.
lots to do , maybe, if I don’t get too obsessed with next 8 valve with real mumbo

or v85 gets here first, all I need out of the box angle grinder for the bits I don’t.
If it weighed same as this one it would fly

was intending some arty shots maybe to follow but first couple of rides showed minor issue, tank could climb at front and rub on top yoke
so I wrapped inner tube around headstock and cut up a kangaroo I had lying around.
kind of in keeping with the original racer faux plastic tank strap idea
