testing 8 valves and plastic tank in tas

 valves behaving not bouncing nor dropping
2k miles 2 up loaded thrashed with vengence
tank big shock, 200 mile range treated like this, over 55 proper mpg  , bet I can get 60, maybe 70 solo trying
says design is inherrently effecient , goes like cut cat, love it, has all the right bits, pushrods, points and carbs, luddites little toy
pics to guess where two in dead centre of town

Nice bike!!  I assume you are using Lario heads grafted onto a formerly-stock V65.   Where did you get the fuel tank - from a current V7 series bike or Asia fabrication?  Presumably the convoluted RH header pipe is there to equalize header lengths before joining the 2-into -1 pipe, but honestly, it looks rather strange.   I think there is probably a more aesthetically-pleasing way to do this.  But innovating with a classic smallblock - yes, I approve.  They can be significantly improved without losing their essential character.  Glad it is working well for you!  Hope you can find the formula to make the valve train hold up.

Assumptions more or less it
Tank v7racer early
V65 with blueprinted lario motor, in fact everything bar pipes and shocks could have been oe
Parts book special if they did it, bitsa when we do, What you do if factory don't make what you want.
Lots more to do, wiring and brakes first, paint it last
Mk 2 already underway, this one just engine proving test, next the proper rocket.
Interesting you don't like pipes look, most do but you know that was never the point, form follows function, this blue duck not entering shows.
But always someone commenting on how good they look, perhaps weirder, awful lot of girls, course we'll never know if pipe or even the motor bike really gets them. I'd have to lend it to fat ugly bloke to find that out!
What I do find funny is all the shiny shiny bikes (and cars) seem to be owned by men that have never seen a mirror, much less a tailor or barber, nowt queer as folk.
