It's a good thing. Wisdom, experience, knowledge to share, like high-fiber recipes and other things that young folks don't even know they need yet ....

I don't think it's kindness as much as it is "I'm Getting Old Too!" Beats the alternative, though. Hope I'm still riding 20 years from now!

I know Manakin Sabot there on VA 6 pretty well; my son has the tree-service contract for the original Sabot plantation. The Silver Thatch closed last year and was auctioned ... I don't know if it was broken up for parts or if the new owners will run it as a going business .... Charlottesville has gone from being a sort of quaint trendy college town to a big sprawling commercial area spreading up US29 10 miles to Ruckersville with no breaks ...

65 last August 8th...been riding motorcycles consistently since age 14...have owned and ridden 34 bikes in 52 years... Feel funny now...have about 15-20 good years left if I am lucky...Hope I can still ride at age 80+..No looking back however...and no regrets..."ONWARD THROUGH THE FOG IS MY MOTTO..." My other one is: "Life is meant to ENJOY...not ENDURE!"
