The Wanker, Aprilia RS125, needs new shoes. I'm looking for a 110/70 ZR 17" Frt. & 150/60 VR 17" rear. tubeless radials. There's a $110.00 difference betwixt Revzilla & JP Cycles. (JP is less costly). Most of all I want fresh Pirelli Diablo Rosso's, series II. Might freshness be the price difference? I've not bought tires from either, previously.

I quit buying mail order tires years ago.  My local guys are close enough on prices.  And I'll bet Cycle Gear will meet any internet price.  But I still like my local guys.

I live about 30 minutes from Dennis Kirk.  You can go their store, which is attached to the warehouse, to buy parts and you can try on any gear they have in the warehouse, which is really nice for helmets and such, where fit is important and the selection dwarfs what you'd find at typical dealer.  They're usually the same price as other internet sites, so I might as well support a local business.

After Motorcycle Superstore was bought out I switched to American Moto Tire. Great prices and fast shipping and zero customer service. Be extremely careful and double no triple check you ordered the right size. Last year I mistakenly ordered a tire the next width up from what I wanted. I tried to get in touch with them to see if I could exchange it. There is no number to call and emails go unanswered. For the record it was my screw up and I still use them.

Its great your local shops have the tires you want in stock at reasonable prices. If I went to any of the local shops today and asked for anything other than a 180/70-17 the standard answer would be I'll have to order it and it'll be here in a week and the price would be MSRP + shipping.

FWIW, I've always had great service from both Revzilla and J&P cycles.  When I was overseas, J&P even shipped tires to me USPS Priority Mail...for free .  Nice, fresh tires BTW.

Plus1 on the above. Have always found em local within a couple of bucks of the mail order price. You may need that brick and mortar guy one day so try to support him.
