Floorboard conversion
« on: October 31, 2019, 10:29:50 PM »
I’m thinking of getting rid of the floorboards on the CalVin and using pegs.  I think this requires different lower frame rails. Would any of the Tonti frame rails bolt up to the CalVin frame?  I’d like to make a list of the stuff I’ll need.

That’s going to be a lot of work. I had a CalVin for a couple years and rode it several thousand miles. With the floorboards, one can position their feet in any position desired, if you remove the heel shifter, which I did. Just some thought but each to his own.

It's not a lot of work and all Tonti frame lower rails will fit.

I had a T-3 FB that I changed over to pegs. I used it's lower rails and just cut off the floor board mounts, tabs and got a hold of a pair of T-3 foot peg mounts shift and brake lever.
