New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Thanks for the feedback!I went out today (55 F - Brrrr) and on the straights really focused on my foot / hip position. If the ball of my foot is on the center of the peg it was slightly more comfortable; so I might be seriously looking at a set of rearsets.
I believe you should always ride with the ball of your foot on the center of the peg. It gives you a much better feel for control. Nick Ienatsch (racer, journalist, riding instructor) convinced me of this 30 years ago on a radio show. If you think about it for a minute you'll see that doing this gives you an extra joint in your leg, so to speak, at your ankle. Horses walk this way, and they do pretty well. It's a very springy stance. After a while, it becomes second nature. You may not need rear sets at all.Moto
