More on the Honda Rebel 1100.  This a comparison between the Rebel 1100 and a comparable HD model.  I thought some of you guys would like see this or not.     Personally, I prefer the same drivetrain in a "standard" bike not a "cruiser".

Disclosure:  I don't work for them.  I could care less if you buy one.

No comparison.

The Harley is a work of art.

The rebel, well let's just say I hope it is priced right.

It's a Honda, so I know it will be worth every penny, and trouble free for many years. And I am not a Honda fanboy.

The new 1100 rebel sure isn't going to win any beauty contest.

However, I like it for the fact it reminds me of a Rebel with it's up sweep tank & lay back sitting yet nimble.

I personally do NOT like the sportster, but that is me.

If this thing is as reliable as the typical Honda make & does have the sporty feel as Honda is promising, I can see myself owning one...in the future years :P

No doubt that it will be a dependable bike. That being said whoever drew the design needs to find a job designing kitchen appliances.

LOL....don't they say riding a Honda is like riding a dishwasher?

Reliable but somewhat boring?  :boozing:

Guess this is close enough?

I think they are both ugly. If I had to take one of them, I'd probably take the Honda. At least on it, you don't have to dress like you are going to a Village People reunion.

You do realize you can be your own person and not follow the crowd.  Since you ride a Moto Guzzi, I guess you have to dress like this.   :bike-037:

I personally find the high/small tank with low seat to be hideous.  I'm sure that Honda is far superior than the Harley as usual.

I find it funny how those who ride "Moto Guzzi, turning men into mechanics since 1921", "Moto Guzzi, going out of business since 1921", rag on Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Honda makes great and reliable motorcycles...and I have owned and ridden a few. :thumb:

However, hard to beat the beauty and lines of this 2021 Sportster!! :thumb:

Never owned one...but have ridden a few...They are a true American classic.   :thumb:

I always owned / rode Big Twin Harley's (Electra Glide Sport and Road Kings)

That Honda is so ugly I'd stop riding if that was the only choice............. ......

But then again, I'm a big Sporty fan, and have been for a long time.  They are fun i  a way that none of the Honda bikes I've ever owned most definitionally are not.  Well built machines? yep.  But FUN?  Not really.

We have to keep a Harley-bashing thread open at all times here.  First it's fun, 2nd it's our duty and 3rd it's always justified.
