Handle Bar Risers for 2006 Breva
« on: March 25, 2021, 07:25:50 PM »
Just purchased  my first Moto Guzzi a 2006 Breva 1100.  I am looking for a source to purchase a pair of bar risers for my bike.
Any one know of a source?

these are going to be tough to source, they didnt sell a lot of them to begin with, and aftermarket on these has been thin even when new. 14 years later, who knows. You might widen your search terms to 'Norge' instead of 'Breva' for a little better luck.
I know some folks have used sockets as risers with longer bolts. IIRC the top of the upper clamp is flat, you may be able to have some fabricated from thick aluminum plate, or do so yourself with a drill press and angle grinder.

Hi

I have for sale from my old 2005 Breva 1100

a) set of risers from a 1200 sport. they fit and allow you a choice of tubular bars
b) set of helibars which brings things up and back

If you're in the UK we should be able to sort something out, if else where, possible but a bit more tricky

PM me if you're interested and I can sort some pictures out

To install he Helibar risers you may need a new brake line and extensions to the switch gear wires.  I had Spiegler make a longer brake line, but when I found I needed to lengthen the wires on the left side I said screw it.  My 06 Breva is gone now (with the uninstalled risers and brake line.)

Really though, give it a chance to get used to it as is.  Once I got some miles on it the stock height seemed fine.  Wait before you leap.

Thanks for everyone's input.  I will give it a go for a while to see if I get used to the riding position.
