New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
I ask because I am investigating a patch wearing club that members are clean and sober which is my passion also (Being sober as I quit drinking in 2006).They do have hang around period of 30 days and prospect period of 6 months. Has anybody here went through that system/process? I’m just in the investigation phase. Thanks for any insight.
I have a friend who's in a veteran's club. I can give you his number if you'd like.
Which veterans club? Combat Veterans Association??? Or a different one if I can ask.
Since you’re in TN, the Tennessee COC website would be a great place to start. There are a few clean & sober clubs in this state. Feel free to contact me directly anytime if you'd like to review the options. There are essentially an Association, MC's, RC's and MM's in this state. They each have different protocols.http://tenncoc.com/
Groucho Marks said it best, " Id never join any club that would have me as a member"
This forum only. The best part is I can still ride alone.
Yup , I’m a life member @ Quaboag Riders M/C . Est. Around 1948 by mostly veterans who worked @ “The Tepee “. Also known as Indian Motocycle Springfield MA. I believe it’s the oldest hill climb club in N.E. Still going strong , I’m not as active as I used to be but try to make a few club meetings a year .Oh , also BMWMOA & of course MGNOC
Bob, why not consider starting your own club or just a riding group of folks in your area. You really don’t have to have an official title as such, just a group of like minded folks who get together occasionally to break bread, day ride or weekend trip. I’ve got a group of buddies who are all retired motor officers that get together, from 2 to several, almost every week. You don’t have to wear colors to have a riding club👍Dan
