I didn't mention that I have a pretty decent shop but I assume that most of us do as MG has been making mechanics out of riders foe over a hundred years. I also have a couple of auto parts stores and a motorcycle repair shop less than a half mile away.

Some years ago my sister, her family, and I rented a house on Coffin Neck in far down east Maine.
Big timber-framed pile - no expense was spared: slate roof, all copper plumbing including
the waste pipes, big porches, gourmet kitchen, observatory - the works.

We went on a little excursion to Quoddy Head State Park - the easternmost point in the
US, and site of the West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and some spectacular hiking trails. On the way in we, (I!) noticed
a few typical Harleys, and a scruffy Triumph Tiger with Utah plates off to the side. The weather
was misty and cool. On the way back to the van, I noticed that the rider of the aforementioned
Triumph was astride his machine. So, I went over to chat.

"You're a long way from home, eh?"
 "Yep - Brisbane, Australia, mate!"

We chatted for a few minutes. He enquired about local campgrounds, and I couldn't really help the fella,
as I don't live in that part of the state.

I returned to the van, and mentioned the situation. I don't know what possessed me, but I said, " We've
got lots of room, why don't we invite him for the evening?" My sister immediately replied, "Let's do it! Quick,
get him before he rides off!" And so we made the acquaintance of Mr. Glen Cochrane of Brisbane, Australia!
He was absolutely delighted with the invitation, and I couldn't tell which he liked more -  the accommodations
out of the weather, or the laundry facilities!
He'd bought the bike unseen on the internet, and flew to Utah to collect it and begin his tour of North America.
We were in touch for several years - which reminds me that I've got to email him some holiday greetings.

All of THAT said, by all means let us know if you're in the area. I have an extra bed, and you're welcome to it
for a day or two. I've also got workshop facilities if your mount needs a little fettling. Of course, it wouldn't take
much arm twisting to get me to ride some local roads with you as well.   :-)

Huzo, if you get anywhere in Texas, let me know and I will seek you out.  I’d really like to meet you.

I can vouch that Houston Paul and Texas Turnip would make superb hosts.

Not sure when it takes effect but Texas will be the first state to roll out driverless trucks.

I’ve got some red ones on the way.

Apparently sooner in Straya has more of a nuclear time definition than it does in some parts of the US......

Looks like lots of great potential destinations.  You will glean lots of stories and memories to last a liftime no doubt.

Hopefully, you will be able to stop by!

Based on your pin locations, Wild Guzzi types seem to herd a lot more than I would have thought.

It might be sense of humor related.....

Not yet, no.
There are a couple of things that still have to tumble the right way, but I’ll arrange it so the temperatures are tolerable as far South as Texas and North as Canada.
If the range was as cold as 15 degrees C and warm as 30 degrees C, then that would be good.
I would think that early/mid Autumn (Fall), would be the way to go ?

If you don’t like heat and don’t mind cold in the morning late September early October is the best.A bonus are the fall colors as shown in Dave Swanson  s photos .There can be rain then, fall is my favorite season for touring.

59 F (15 C) to 86 F (30 C) is a very narrow comfort temperature range for such a huge geographical area.

For most of the places I've lived (as far south as Texas and as far north as New York), that type of temerprature variation in a even single day day is not unusual.  Locally, a 2500 foot change in elevation can change temperature by 20 F (about 11 C).

HUGE variation in temperature over here given even 200 miles difference North or South.

Expecting even one week of that kind of temperature stability in most of the continental US is asking for Divine intervention.

Based on your pin locations, anytime from early March to late November is fair game for good riding.  I'm sure you have lots of experience on how to dress for weather.

Don't believe the US news about the Great Lakes boiling off.....

Fall is hands down the BEST season for riding for me.

You might want to start north in the early fall and travel south
as fall progresses. Snow in October is NOT unheard of in northern
areas of the US. September can also have some warm days.

OC to 29C, (32F to 85F) Would be a range of temperatures to prepare
for. You wouldn't necessarily ride all day at 0C, but you'd likely start an
early morning at somewhere near that temp. In the south, you'd certainly
encounter temps in the 80s F, even in October.

Fall does have the advantage that most of the touristas are gone - except for
leaf-peepers - and the kids are all back in school. Weekday traffic in scenic areas
is therefore much reduced; although keep in mind some touristy parks and suchlike
may be closed for the season.

Still, I love fall for riding.

I'm not sure how things are your way, but lately many motorcycle dealers will not keep a variety of tires in stock. Many of them will not accept ride -in maintenance without an appointment. Many of them require you to bring them the wheels and will not loan tools or a lift for you to remove them. IF you can guesstimate your need for tires, you could pre order them and have them delivered to WGers along the way. There is a motorcycle accessory shop called Cycle Gear who will mount tires brought in on the wheels. Here is a page with their locations nation wide: https://www.cyclegear.com/stores .    They also sell helmets and M/C gear as their name suggests.

Frankly September in the northeast is the best month of the year for riding. Its normally much dryer then spring time is, and still has nice warm days, and the nights are just getting a little cool. Perfect. If you do make it into the northeast you will have some of the best riding in the country, and if you hit the time right the IMOC rally [ https://www.imoc.website/  ] is normally early September.

The Ontario Guzzi Riders annual rally in Lavigne, Ont (near Sudbury) is usually the last weekend in August.

Temps are in the single digits (Celsius) overnight with heavy fog in the low-lying areas.

Heated riding gear is a good idea.

It looks like you have the northeast and northwest covered, but how about the Rocky Mountains?
We live in Berthoud, Colorado near Rocky Mountain National Park.  Trail Ridge Road climbs to 12183 ft/3713 m and is less than 60 miles/100 k from my house.  We can offer bed and breakfast, and a shop with lift and tire changer.
