Will take longer to boot than from internal storage though does give you something else to try. No faffing about with silly Windoze drivers.(The only gotcha that I had an issue with, was editing the ini file to manually add /dev/ttyUSB0 as the port to use. By booting from USB, you probably need to change this to /dev/ttyUSB1)
