GuzziDiag - file not found

  Going in circles... On Macbook OS High Sierra O/S 10.13.   GD works fine on Norge - Yes I have the correct read and write files for both.  On 2003 EV ...  READ file for 2000> Cali is 15M PF3C but it won't find it then when it does does will not "read".    Moved over to the Norge, selected correct ECM and file and all works as it should?   Making me crazy now.... EV starts and runs fine. No lags but I believe it is a bit on the rich side. wanted to hook up to GD to read and  adjust CO trim for fuel..   
Finally got my HB mounts and bags installed yesterday along with +1in up and back risers and new battery & tires. Guzzi WS works fine for me at freeway speed luckily but guzzidiag is making me crazy...I have opened GD and file from both desk top and applications to no success.  Looks to save but file does
 not turn off FI and fails.

Does a 2003 EV use a 15RC ECU? I thought that they did. If so make a different selection in the set up.

I started with that selection per the GD instructions as it is FI not carbed as the Tutorial instructs but that makes no difference nor any other model?  It's a conundrum?

IIRR select "2001"?" >" and if the correct Com Port is selected it will work on a PC at least!!!

 Not so  much.  I only show 1 port on Windoze and that is the one selected.  On the MAC is is the USB that is being seen, no problem   My options are GD <2000 & >2000, Besides the 2000 p.i. (Fuel Injected).   One is pre year 2000 and one is post year 2000 on Mac version GD V46 and V60

Given that you get on better with the Mac - which the software isn't developed for - then my usual advice to boot Linux Mint from an USB pendrive seems appropriate. However, if you only have one USB port, you'll need to install Mint alongside the other OS(es).

  Thanks anyway but Not going off on a "Wild Goose" chase with yet another operating system I know nothing about.  Be helpful with realistic answers.

  If my memory serves me it was made kinda clear in the beginning to use windows .
Got myself a used win 7 notebook and succeeded in getting guzzidiag to install the CPU remapping and all was fine .
It was no walk in the park with win7 , so I can't imagine what it'd be like with a Mac ! But Guzzidiag was a great piece of software
for my 2018 Eldorado .

I have had that work 1st on a Vista I have for VDSTS, screen don't work. 2nd worked fine on my W7 and I even had VDSTS working on the W7, NOW W11 and still works fine. If you get older laptop you need the older software #. I started out using DIAG IAW software before there was GuzziDiag and swear by these guys software, it just works for me. There is ways to make it work, I have had to go into properties & change bit speed to get the VDSTS to work & a different serial adapter.
This morning I was thinking to put it on my MAC Air & see what happens. Might learn something.

  IT works on my Norge.  No workee on my EV...  Dunno why?    I have an old Macbook and a new Windoze 11.   Splain that!

Ok, download on the MAC & driver and it won't open either one. What a piece of crap. I don't use it, was a Bday present. So O called my tech sister and told her HA she says she's not an engineer. WTF One reason not to learn anything new

EDIT:  There isn't a usb port on the MAC no wonder it won't work, junk for what I do

  HOW could it NOT have a USB port?  The older one is USB, the newer are USB-C; much faster

2 small ones on side, book says USB-4, so I must need an adapter, app would not even open, same w/FTDI driver. Try to delete driver & says I can't it's running. I'm not a puter guy just been working w/them since 06 and all windows stuff. Don't really care much just seeing if I could get it to work & maybe learn.

DID you load the software for the mac according to the GD tutorial?   Different versions for differ OS's..  Blind leading the blind here..  I'm on OLD Macbook for GD OS High Sierra that works, atleast for the Norge. Have not figured out the EV issues yet??
