Well if it is AI generated BS it sure goes into great detail.
I would have liked to had the specs (weight, seat height etc) included in the data.

For anyone who is struggling with media literacy in the age of AI, which has progressed to the point of being pretty hard to tell in many cases, a few possible tells that suggest you should question if it's AI or not are the text-to-speech voice, panning of still images, and inconsistency between images. Once you notice those things you can dig more into the account posting it, if the images are in settings that makes sense (road paint appropriate for Italy), and the most sure telling thing in this particular video - text and fine detail squish. Though they're getting better, many generative models mess up those fine details and you'll see text that has issues with the characters or fine details get blurred. It looks like they have the silver fins on the cylinder stick out past the outer black part rather than being recessed in which is another visual observation that doesn't match up with how a real engine's fins would be designed so as to not chip them. The tire tread pattern is also not consistent. This was surely fed real images of Moto Guzzi motorcycles which is why at quick glance they look similar to real models.

Stay frosty.

THE most beautiful motorcycles I’ve seen in decades!!! If it’s AI, Moto Guzzi should pay close attention and produce these beauties!!!
It would create a major comeback for Guzzi and create a waiting list.

I like the design, but it's a bullshit, AI video.  I only watched a bit of it, but my complaints are 1) there is no way to characterize an air cooled V twin as competitive with  modern (water cooled) sport bikes.  It'd be a hoot to drive, but a fraction of the power output. 2) who the heck puts up pictures of riders without helmets?  And a long haired person with the hair loose?  Now... I may not have much hair, but I do have a wife and a daughter and I know the repercussions of riding with loose hair.

Still- I'll grant that those are some cool designs.  I'd seriously consider a sport... let's be realistic... 850 model.  V1200 is nonsense.

Don't you think that if Moto Guzzi was going to put out a performance bike, it would use the V100 platform? All of these AI garbage images are based on the small block platform. I didn't watch all the way through.

FYI, if a picture is bouncing around or moving quickly, it's for a reason.

Depends how you define “competitive”.

I vote for April Fool's Joke.  The cadence of the speech is AI.  The future at MG has been decided and it is not larger air cooled bikes.  However, I love the artwork on this.

The only 'truth' in these AI generated videos is that AI seemingly has a better eye for certain Moto Guzzi design elements than does the current crop of Moto Guzzi designers. I long for the day when Piaggio broadens its focus for Moto Guzzi where they get back to leading in design by using more of their own (MG) heritage. It seems there is an over emphasis on the many V7 variants in their lineup. With the exception of the V100, too much seems aimed to compete with Royal Enfield. Please, make a man sized motorcycle again.

But, I'm 'guessing' Piaggio lost their shirt on the 1400 bikes. The reviews were so overwhelmingly positive. The designs paid a lot of attention to detail but the line only lasted a bit over 6 years. Sorry, the Euro 5 excuse doesn't cut it with me because China builds and sells the H-D 1200 Sportster in Italy and Germany still builds their R18.

With the full GTM exhaust system combined with the GTM fueling system, the 1400 successfully punches well above its weight.

I loved my Audace, I put up with the iffy fueling at low rpm. But the rake and trail with the heavy weight and long wheelbase made it a hassle  for me to ride with my advanced age and low weight, 150 lbs. So I had to reluctantly had to let it go.

I the more I see and learn about the Audace the more I like it. The Audace Carbon was another awesome addition.

If AI can design bikes so can we.

Therefore:

I think the entire 1400 line needed the same unique 1400 headlight.

And I certainly would have liked the CA Touring front end mated with the MGX back end.

Every once in awhile I see these renderings for a future v85 sport. I even saw one a couple months ago that basically turned the v85 chassis into a V7 sport style. Of course I'd love it if they did, but I doubt it.

I'm still waiting to see the next iteration of the v100 motor, whether it's a California or a true faux fairing sport touring bike. I'm not however holding my breath.

So why was I roundly criticised by the established luminaries when I suggested that very thing ages ago, when Beetle and Pete Roper were around ?
I was always shot down by conventional wisdom gems such as…
“It won’t stand up against the current crop of Japanese stuff…”
“They won’t pass the new emission regs..”
“Good idea…! They will sell at least two dozen of them…”
and a dozen other contrived responses.
Us old farts just want what we want and are not heavily swayed by popular (young) opinion.

A throw back to the Le Mans with a scaled down 850 version of the current V100 motor, would scuttle the sales base of anything else from Mandello del Lario.
They would not be able to keep up with demand.

Beats me, ask your fellow Aussie Residents and verbal abusers...........    :boozing: :boozing: :boozing:

I'm hugely in favor of a Sporting Road Oriented NON ADV Woody Woodpecker Beaked V85. I'll do all I can humanly possible to ever ride a WC bike again. My C10 Concours, FZ1 and FJR1300's were all fine motorcycles, but I prefer Air Cooled. I'm thrilled with the V85, but wish they would do more with the chassis. Yes, it might/would impact other models, but they could tailor it..... Imagine a V85+ Griso? LeMans? Daytona?  Sport? Heck, though Roper and Crowd insist they couldn't increase the displacement to 951+ (I dont buy it...... a wee bit more bore and change to stroke even if you have to make larger jugs), why not those models called V1000 and expand that range as a more sporting air cooled option, and leave the V7/9 as the classic cruiser?

Well, many over exaggerated ’luminaries’ are often simpletons. That, like most people, only like or are interested in what ‘they’ want. The ‘not invented here syndrome’ is as real as your heartbeat. Best to accept and then filter their technical input and to discard much of anything else.

If you like it, build it or modify an existing model to get what you desire. Ideas are typically easy. It’s the process of making them a reality that stops most people.

The ‘Keyboard Commando’ types often find a perverse joy in shooting down the ideas of others. Ignore and avoid them.
