I found Waxenstein Mountain about 55 or 60 kilos SSE of the Starnberger See in Bavaria.
Did your family holdings extend that far north back in the day, or is that a different part of your family.
It looks like some beautiful mountains with not much for roads there.

Yes, I'm familiar with it, but to my knowledge it is not related with us. At least not directly. There was a castle named Kozljak (in German Waxenstein or Wachsenstein) in today's Croatia after which "we" got this surname addition. That was in 1529.

I camped and kayaked the Starnberger See for about a week in 1964.  Carried the kayak and gear on bicycles from the north end of Munchen.  Great place and very historic.  I paddled across the lake to see a marker in the water.
It read that it was the place that King Ludwig drowned under suspicious circumstances.  It was believed he had help.
Mad Ludwig wasn't the most popular king Bavaria ever had.  He wasted a lot of the treasury.  There was the wreck of an old castle nearby, all abandoned with steps going down into the lake.  I poked around the internet and see that it has been rebuilt to its' former glory and is now a tourist attraction.

N is my first initial

Orm: Object-relational mapping (ORM, O/RM, and O/R mapping tool) in computer science is a programming technique for converting data between incompatible type systems using object-oriented programming languages. This creates, in effect, a "virtual object database" that can be used from within the programming language.

Pretty much self explanatory.   Medic - I was a national certified Paramedic, and Andy (Andreas) is my first name. I now work at our local Level 1 Trauma Center's Pediatric Emergency Department while I'm also finishing up my RN. So I will one day change my user name from MedicAndy to PedsRNAndy

I've never figured out why they have to add "random" numbers for a name that's already been taken.

Sometimes I'll try to sign up somewhere with my name, and the system says "Username already exists".   Nine times out of ten it's already me, so I try to re-use it; sometimes you can't.

So you'd THINK I could use Lannis1 or Lannis01.   But nooooo ... the system says I have to use "Lannis6785", like there's 6784 other "Lannis"es in the system already.

the first moto-board I signed up for years ago was Adventure Rider.  It was also the first time I needed a screen name.  I figured I'm a rider not a biker and my favorite road is Route 33 (there is one in almost every state & they are nearly always good), hence rider33.  The Avitar by the way was an accidental shot at Glacier National Park.  I had handed my disposable camera to a lady to take my picture and it went off in her hand before she really aimed.  When the picture came back (film, rember that?) it was a close-up of my hand with Logan Pass in the background, 'best shot on the roll actually..

Congratulations!

I'm sure you've heard people "complaining" (moaning?) about the retirement ages and compensation for police officers, which tend to be "early" and "good".

I'm not one of them.   I'M not the one taking a chance on getting killed by my clients every day when I'm out doing my job.    I'm sure you've earned every penny of it.

Retirement is more fun than most people think it is .... !
