Yes you do , the Stone looked like a new motorbike .

I've always liked the Breva and wanted one. Heck, I like all Guzzi's.

But, that would look really nice in my garage. I don't have any reds yet.

Heck bubba , I had thoughts of keeping this one a secret and bringing it home

Really, it won't. They are no more complex than any other big block. If you have any queries or are worried about damaging something? Just ask.

Oh, and I bunged Mike some shekels last night. If it does need swingarm bearings or a shock linkage let me know. I'll chuck in the bearings but if it needs a linkage let me order it as I get a decent discount from AF1. Don't order a lot off them at the moment because the exchange rate is so shite but I can, and get it delivered to your address of choice.

Thanks Pete . The bike should be at Gliderjohn's place by the end of this month , we can get some pics of the linkage and swingarm .

I just want to win the bugger so we've got an excuse to come back! Jude and I are off to India in February and then the UK and Ireland, (With a side trip to France and possibly northern Italy if we have time.) mid 2020 but we still think we might have another US bike trip in us before we get too feeble. A Breva would be great! Far better than that POS Cali 1400 I bought for the last trip! I get a hernia just thinking about it!

Two years ago I would really of liked to do it on a Stelvio! Still would, but if I dropped it with a full tank someone would find our bleached bones out in the boondocks! Otherwise next time we'll go the boring hire car route again although that was a disaster last time! Much less reliable than a Guzzi. It was some sort of small, horrible Chevrolet and barely managed to run on ordinary fuel! Weird!

If you do get the the US, anywhere near VA, let me know.  I could lend you and the misses a bike or two for a few days.  Italian, Austrian, or Japanese, take your pick.  Warning: Damn little desert or sand in VA, mostly woods, mountains, and farm land.  I heard there's some cities here somewhere, but I try to avoid them.

Sadly, much though we'd like to make it next year our itinerary is already pretty full. India in February, Europe in June/July. We'd prefer later but we're going with a mob of friends so we bow to their demands.

2021 is a definite possibility. I should be fully retired by then!

Peter , I appreciate the idea , but unfortunately it adds a layer of complication . Simpler just to wait until 2020 and send Luap a donation . Fair dinkum mate .

Too funny - typical Guzzista?

That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Besides the great raffle bike, brotherly love and camping Marley the rally dog sends a friendly reminder to attend, but if you are thinking of not attending he will send cousin Vinny after your A#%!
