I think you guys insulted Billy Joel, Buddy Holly and Led Zeppelin in a few posts.

Since you hurt his feelings, I am willing to bet that Robert Plant won't make it now.

I hope you guys are very proud of yourselves.

Billy Joel only leaves NJ for money , Buddy Holly hasn't been anywhere in years , and that Plant guy , well , the girls at the Local El Chico say he doesn't tip , which means we can't take him to the cafe anyway .

Well great, now you've run them both off and insulted the dead.  Anyone else you want to call out?

I’m now thinking Weird Al Yankovic.   If he rides motorcycles, it would only make sense it would be Moto Guzzis.

Have had a couple of inquiries re the effect that the --19 virus will have on the event . Here is where I am on this , if the virus is running rampant across the country in 40 days then we will make a decision , but right now we are still on for the normal dates . This is just one of those things we have no control over , and we can and will take some precautions . Fair enough ?

I don't care if it is running rampant. I'm riding to Cedarvale on that Saturday. All of my doctor friends tell me the best preventative medicine to avoiding this thing is to boost your immune system with 3x the daily dose of Vitamin C and 2X vitamin D. So, take a couple oranges with you and hit the road getting sunshine.  :thumb:

Oh, FWIW...EVERYONE EVERYWHERE will be exposed to it sooner or later. Don't mean you'll get it, but you'll be exposed. Boost that immune system!

Luap, you've got the right of it. If I remember correctly, current estimates are that 99% of the population will be exposed within the next year.

Like I stated earlier , we will take the necessary precautions . Not worried about anyone contracting it in Cedar Vale , just don't want us to be the vector . If the virus is rampant we will limit our contact with the locals .

When is the last day the check can be sent?

Our little city here in central IN is basically on lock down.  Churches, schools, exercise facilities, activities that involve groups of people, etc are all closed for the foreseeable future.  Expect we will see a baby-boom early next December, from the younger generations, that is.

Good morning Chuck , the cutoff date will be April 24 , we will make a decision on April 21 about the rally so yo long distance folks have sufficient lead time . Other than that , we have what we have .

Just show up, keep your full face helmet on (vents closed) and disinfect your hands before going off by yourself to eat. And practice social distancing by leaving a couple bike lengths between each other when riding.   :thumb:
The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!

Don't we quality as the 'younger' generation?  Bob

Bob, we no longer qualify as the "younger" generation.  The oldest Boomers (born in 1946) are now 74 years of age.  The next older generation -- The Silents -- born in the years 1927 to 1945 are now what they're talking about when reference is made to the "vulnerable elderly".  And, of course, older than The Silents is the G.I.Generation, born in the years 1908 to 1926.

It concerns me sometimes when my wife and I are walking and people look at us like we're to be avoided or carefully walked around on the sidewalks.  Of course, our white hair and aged looks don't help much.  On the bright side, at least I don't have a handicap license plate on my Corvette yet.

"  ............  at least I don't have a handicap license plate on my Corvette yet  ............"

Love that comment, Chuck!

It is a difficult adjustment when:
- you were the youngest of three brothers, by 9 and 12 years.
- you were the youngest in your grade school class.

You always get used to being the 'youngest!'

How about a pix of that 'vette?'

We hope to be able to return from Albuquerque tomorrow. Getting where you can only use drive throughs for food, grocery stores here are wiped out of paper goods, canned goods, pasta, bread, milk and water. Talked to a connivence store clerk who told be someone had taken all the paper goods out of the bathroom, ripped the soap dispenser and sanitizer dispenser off the wall and left with all. Still have a rental car if our flights get cancelled. Our motel still has toilet paper.

I hope so...we have to get past the next 6-7 weeks "surge" to get to the downside of the - exposure...or we could postpone the event a few weeks...possibly, although we might be in a national lockdown like the Bay Area is today.
