Me three Dusty.  I'm starting to think about my 2021 Traveling Calendar and CV would be a reasonable place to begin.

My wife and I are scheduled to get our shots in the next couple of weeks, I've got a bit of a medical issue that will be dealt with in a month or so, the vehicle is ready to roll, all conditions seem to be in a "GO" position.  Let us know.  Thanks.

Ride safe out there.

I'd like to know too, Dusty. No pressure, but IF you do it, WHEN would you do it?

The answer is "I don't know" . The virus has hit Cedar Vale pretty hard , traced back mostly to a car rally in Hewins Park in November . Had hoped we might be seeing a reduction in cases nationwide by now , instead the opposite has happened.

I am in quandary over this , so please be patient .

Must be really bad in the States, curious.

In the last 90 days I've been in Karachi, Dubai, Istanbul, Marrakech, and every thing is wide open except for normal precautions in the guise of personal contact. A lot of masks but its not uncommon for people to ware masks in these places where the air is sometimes like 60s' Los Angles.

For the most part these countries are small business places, with out which the country would starve .

In the past year we have only had on case of the virus in our organization despite the wide travel.

I wish you Stateside folks good luck.

 OK , let's discuss a 2021 WG event in Cedar Vale .

The r number is looking pretty good , the vaccines seem to be in distribution in large enough quantities now that we can at least contemplate rallying again .

The pertinent information is in the first post from last year's thread , which I will edit to reflect this year's dates . Notice we are doing Marley T shirts to benefit a no kill shelter in Newton Kansas .

Now for the hard part . I am reserving the right to cancel the event as late as April 15 , so please take note . If you are concerned about making a deposit wait until close to the date . We do however need to know if you are planning on coming .

 Thanks

Signed , your cautiously optimistic rally host .

The beautiful Raffle Guzzi is safely tucked away in my climate controlled shop until it can be raffled. It is really a nice bike. :thumb:

If you will be so kind to PM me the contact info at the motel, I'd appreciate it. I'd like to attend, but I need a room.

:thumb: Held off for an extra week announcing anything , and of course if shyte goes sideways over the next 45 days we will reschedule for September. The numbers are going the right direction , and we aren't talking a large gathering , if we get 15 we'll call it a success .

I am simply very protective of not only this family , but of the mostly old folks in Cedar Vale , we can't ever eliminate all risk , and who would want to , but we can mitigate risk to some acceptable level .

OK, so what are the planned dates?  In the past years we've gathered in the first half of May.  What will they be this year?

sounds like a winner.  I haven't serviced the travel trailer in a year.  I guess I should start getting prepped now.

Perfect timing. Just today I finally was able to finagle the clutch bleeder and flush the system on the V11.

Oh yeah...guess I better reinstall the starter motor, rear shock thingie, do a surplus parts check and take a shakedown ride.

My understanding is there are some new raised RV pads that are graveled , and some more coming . We give the city money , they make things better for us .

The museum is undergoing some work and will still be closed in May , but there will be deserts in the park on Friday evening .

Circumstances no longer permit overnight trips much less interstate trips so once again I will watch from afar.  But if someone in SoCal would like to attend but doesn't have the ride they need for a week-long trip they can borrow my V7 III with H&B 38L Xceed Side Cases and Givi 47L Top Case.  Tires, fluids, etc are ready for a CV round-trip.  I can ride the Spyder in the meantime.  PM if you are interested.

Missed that one.  Sorry.  I'll get it on the Traveling Calendar.  However, I'm currently halfway through a series of treatments and the outcome is not completely clear at this point.
