A ride in a Mclaren , WOW  :thumb:

 Dusty

An understatement Dusty. It really is a beautiful vehicle. it does not sound like a V8, more like a large Japanese multi winding up. He started off with the top down and the rear window up, but during the drive he stopped and put the top up and the rear window down to give a better appreciation of the engine "sound". When the large turbo kicked in the intake roar was like nothing I have heard, awesome! :thumb:

Can't see him keeping his licence long with that beast.

My day yesterday was a typical Monday, with incessant work emails and phone calls.         My late afternoon and early evening at dusk, however, was much, much better thanks to the scenery from my front porch and a little Limoncello!! :thumb:

Thanks for that, JJ! I'd forgotten the bottle of Limoncello in the back of the fridge. I'll make Dorcia a Limoncello cake as atonement for dropping the can of flour (!) in the pantry.

Thanks for Asking!  I feel great today but...

I had a few stressfull / intense days at work handling a yearly Audit at the engineering company I work for.  I had to be so focussed the pass couple weeks on preparation that I actually replaced my Griso screen savour with something Microsoftish.

I promised myself once I got through the Audit I would start thinking about that new Griso again that I'm picking up in a couple weeks and make some space in my garage for it!

I used to have to go through those.  Sarbanes-Oxley type audit?   ASME certification?   Boy am I glad those days are past ... in a way.

I had a great day yesterday.  I am pretty well finished my T3/Le Mans replica so I had the bike appraised so that I can get insurance.  The problem started with a typo on the ownership.  The bike was listed as a 73 and as you all know the T3 wasn't introduced until 75.  So I went down to the licencing office to get it changed.  I know what you are thinking. I'm probably going to have to go to Italy to prove it is a 75  and then visit the Pope for final approval, but no they looked at the appraisal which stated T3s started in 75 and issued me a new ownership on the spot!! They even changed the colour to red.

Today is the day I get a zipper in my chest. How the rest of the day will play out remains to be seen. Over and out....for a while Inshallah.

Hey Nick, you are by no means the first of us to join the Zipper Club. I'm hugely impressed that you are able to type so soon. It means that came out of it far better than I did. You must have access to a tablet or some such. I know I was fixed to machines like a Borg captive and was unable to access a computer until I was discharged.
